About
For 20 years she has been singing her way through a mosaic of Latin rhythms and American classics in her own way, on grand stages and in intimate venues alike. One of Houston’s most versatile and accomplished singers, Cecille can be seen and heard bringing her unique blend of Latin and American music. Born in Venezuela and raised in a musical family, Cecille got an education in various styles of Latin music, including, Salsa, Merengue, Cuban, Latin Jazz, and folk styles. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 14 years old and her repertoire grew even deeper as she learned American pop, rock, country, and R&B genres. She has performed alongside some of the most well-known international musicians including, Tito Rojas, Isaac Delgado, La India, Isidro Infante, Alain Perez, Jerry Rivera, NG2, and many more. Cecille is trained in classical music and studied music education at Houston Christian University and is also an accomplished songwriter and instrumentalist.
